AI raised the security floor, but elite intrusions still need strong teams, researcher says

Security researcher HackingLZ argues AI raises the floor of offensive capability, but the people getting the best results from models have extremely strong teams behind them. Many misjudge where the floor already was because they don't read CTI, DFIR reports, attacker playbooks, or leaked attacker chat logs — many "real" intrusions were never sophisticated. He also notes ransomware turned junk intrusions into multimillion-dollar businesses and drove security investment, and that even without it, compliance and good-faith reasons would keep organizations investing.
