Sharing a Local Dev Runtime Between TUI and Coding Agents via MCP
vladimirlobas · reddit · 2026-09-15
A developer added MCP to Kranz, a local service orchestrator, so coding agents can inspect services, view restart plans, restart services, and read logs from the same runtime shown in the TUI — instead of spawning extra shells or duplicate stacks. Safety details: connecting starts nothing, disconnecting stops nothing, and the client can only shut down runtimes it started itself.
