Dev: 90% of my work already runs in Claude Code — is there anything left to upskill?

A developer on Reddit says at least 90% of his work now happens inside Claude Code — coding, architecture, system design, docs, tickets, research. He feels he's becoming the bottleneck: his time and mental energy for context-switching and decisions are finite, while Claude keeps absorbing more actual work.
He questions the standard advice — "move up the stack," "focus on architecture," "learn the business" — asking why AI won't catch up on those skills too, and argues software engineers may be close to a point where further upskilling offers no advantage.
