Cline Desktop early access: scheduled tasks auto-review PRs for a 14k-star maintainer
Arindam_1729 · x · 2026-09-15
Cline launched an open-source desktop app (native interface, works with ClinePass free models like DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash and Musespark-1.3, or BYOK with any provider). An early tester's favorite feature isn't the coding but scheduled tasks: maintaining a 14,000+ star repo means a constant stream of PRs to review. Now Cline periodically reviews PRs, closes obvious spam, and delivers a focused report of what actually needs human attention — same repo, same volume, far less attention consumed. Coding tasks (investigating an issue, fixing it) also tested well.
