ChimeraArena Runs Interactive AI-Generated Video Locally on a Single RTX 4090

A developer is building ChimeraArena, an experimental interactive creature arena that runs the entire interactive video-generation pipeline on a single consumer RTX 4090 with no cloud GPUs.

Instead of pre-rendered video, it generates a continuous interactive sequence: creatures enter an arena and users steer the fight with !action commands, !vote on suggested moves, and !summon codes tied to decks created on the project site.

The core challenge is continuity across generations — creature, opponent, environment, camera and fight state must stay recognizable while each new action changes what happens next. VRAM, latency, model size, resolution and frame count all become design constraints. The goal isn't perfect 30/60 FPS realtime, but a practical form of interactive generative video: generate, display, accept the next action, continue the scene.
