Perplexity adds local MCP and scheduled tasks to Portable Computer on Windows

Following Portable Computer's launch on Windows PCs with NVIDIA RTX GPUs, Perplexity added two capabilities: support for local MCP, so users can connect Computer to their own tools and app integrations, and scheduled tasks, letting Computer handle recurring work on the PC while the user is away.
Combined with local execution, agents can now run long-running automation fully on-device.
