Free DaVinci Resolve + AI agent workflow cuts a week of editing down to 30 minutes
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-09-14
User alexcovoeth adapted TheAlex's AI video-editing skills repo to work with the free version of DaVinci Resolve (v19.1) plus Codex/Astra 6 — no MCP required. He reports finishing in 30 minutes what used to take 2–3 days of uninterrupted editing (about a week on a busy schedule).
The core trick: show the AI a sample video and it clips the rest in the same style, pace, and color grading. Instructions and repo are linked in the post.
