Google Labs launches Dreambeans, an opt-in AI that connects Gmail, Photos and Calendar into personalized stories
GoogleAI · x · 2026-09-14
Google Labs unveiled Dreambeans, a personalized AI experience that connects data across Gmail, Calendar, Search, the Gemini app, and face grouping in Google Photos, instead of siloing data app by app.
Example use case: it notices a friend's birthday is coming up, generates a one-of-a-kind illustrated story of you two, and suggests gift ideas; tapping an illustrated tile surfaces more info and direct links, like watching a movie trailer or buying a suggested gift. Customized "stories" arrive via a daily in-app notification, with the experience opt-in and transparent.
