AWS has published the architecture of a prototype the author built in a week with the Thales AvioBook team, targeting an expensive airline problem: when a turnaround slips, one person under time pressure picks a single delay code from a dropdown, so the true root cause often never gets recorded and the data diverges from reality. The prototype instead mines timestamped events and crew messages to reconstruct the real story automatically.
