Developers discovered that iOS 27/macOS 27 ship a hidden "ModelDelegation" API — Siri's "Ask…" menu shows a Claude option, though Apple hasn't announced it.

- A local background daemon forwards Siri requests to Claude's CLI and streams text/files/suggestions back with full context; the same CSV-table request that Siri can't do, Claude completes instantly

Backstory
Per Gurman, Apple considered rebuilding Siri around Claude, but Anthropic priced it at billions/year doubling over three years; Apple signed Gemini instead ($1B/year).
