A developer connected a fly's brain to Elden Ring: game observations were encoded as sensory signals, the fly brain processed them into motor responses, and motor outputs triggered keyboard presses in a feedback loop. Five days later the setup had cleared the entire main story, including Malenia. GPT Astra helped assemble it in just a few prompts; code and tests are open-sourced on GitHub.
