Codex Now Proactively Coordinates Across Parallel Agent Sessions, User Reports
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-09-14
A user shares that Codex has become much more proactive in coordinating across parallel sessions/tasks. Previously they had to ask or remind sessions to communicate unless it was obvious.
Now Codex messages other sessions on its own — even when the user hasn't realized another relevant task is running — for things touching the same checkout or worktree. A notable step in multi-agent orchestration UX.
