What should AI labs do if AGI risk were real? A challenge to skeptics

The poster challenges AGI skeptics: if AI companies were actually approaching AGI and the risks were real, what would you want them or the government to do or say, and how would you distinguish that behavior from hype? He argues that inferring labs must be motivated by something other than risk, based purely on how they behave, doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
