Activist dressed as Doctor Doom crashes Seattle council to protest surveillance camera expansion

At a Seattle Public Safety Committee meeting, a speaker in a Doctor Doom costume 'thanked' the council for blanketing the city in surveillance cameras, warning of 1,000+ cameras feeding a real-time crime center. Behind the mask was Clifford Cawthon, a Washington State Department of Commerce policy advisor and Community Not Cameras member, protesting surveillance systems from Flock and Axon. Seattle PD currently has access to 62 cameras, many tied to the RTCC.
