Someone's job is making Claude sound less Claudeish — and it's nearly impossible
menhguin · x · 2026-09-14
Developer menhguin jokes that someone at Anthropic must be tasked with making Claude sound less "Claudeish" — and has no idea where they'd even begin. The distinctive voice is baked into pre-training samples (even samples from models that aren't supposed to be Claude) and is subtly hard to reward. "An Askell-tier Linear ticket."
