FreightScout's Scout AI voice agent worked a real hot load: at 4:02pm an LA-to-Memphis dry van came in while human reps were too busy to open it. Scout instantly ranked carriers who could make pickup and called dozens in parallel. By 4:04pm three carriers were answering at once, and Scout ran three separate negotiations — talking one from $6,200 down to a $5,800 deal, exactly the ceiling the human rep had set. The poster's takeaway: in freight, having the right connections may soon mean having an agent.
