Survey of 250 IT execs: 95% report real AI results, all plan to spend more

A survey by Azeem Azam of 250 IT executives in Las Vegas found that when asked how many had serious, meaningful results from AI initiatives, roughly 95% raised their hands — versus only about a quarter in a similar room a year earlier.

Nearly all of them plan to spend more on AI next year. The approaches vary widely: a century-old American institution has shifted entirely to open-weight models, while a hospital runs a mix of OpenAI and Anthropic models. A clear signal that enterprise AI is moving from pilots to scale.
