Security researcher dioscuri argues that the Mythos/Glasswing incidents and the Hugging Face breach show AI cyber capabilities have crossed a threshold, which alone justifies far more caution around rollout and safety evaluation — "LLMs aren't just consumer products."
In the quoted earlier post, he predicts cybersecurity's relatively placid decade is ending: big LLMs can already assemble sophisticated financial fraud plans, and the missing "now do it" button is not far away, with the next 12 months expected to get badly destabilized.
