Developer waqarsyd released Forma, an open-source tool that eliminates the tedium of manually recreating report layouts.
- Feed it report images, PDFs, or existing .repx files, and it generates editable DevExpress (.repx) layouts you can open directly in the designer, plus a written spec, a live browser mockup, and valid XtraReports XML in one pass.
- Privacy-first: the tool holds no API keys — you bring your own Gemini key, requests go straight from your browser to Google with no middleman server.
- Supports DevExpress 26.1 back to 20.1, source available under Apache-2.0.
