Dario Amodei Essay Urges AI Industry to Slow Down; Anthropic Grants Third-Party Evaluator Access
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-09-13
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published a new essay, "We Must Pace the Frontier," arguing the AI industry should slow down, backed by a three-part plan.
As the first step, Anthropic is unilaterally committing to give third-party evaluators permanent, employee-level access to its systems, so they can verify adherence to safety measures, report incidents, and assess models' alignment. The reply from CyberRobooo jokes it's time to reread Orwell's Animal Farm.
