SEED-UMI uses matching human-robot exoskeletons for reliable dexterous imitation learning

Collecting demonstrations for dexterous hands is hard because human-to-robot retargeting breaks down once contact, friction, and joint coupling come into play. SEED-UMI takes a different approach: the human and robot wear the same exoskeleton, making imitation learning more reliable under contact.
