Could AI-graded live essays and oral exams replace the SAT?

Responding to a discussion that the SAT no longer measures much, RachelVT42 proposes colleges run their own home-cooked exams: students write a live essay or give a spoken presentation with only 20-30 minutes of preparation. Marking was historically too slow and flawed, but recording the sessions and having AI agents grade the whole batch immediately afterward would make it easy and more accurate than current systems.
