The author tried to buy a 32GB-RAM VPS to run agents (their Mac mini is dying and a new mini PC hasn't arrived), but most providers are out of stock. The "RAM is getting more expensive and PCs harder to buy" thesis is starting to feel very real — local deployment and agent workloads may be seriously underestimated drivers of the memory crunch.
