Developer 0xSigil says a friend's real SSN could be extracted from Claude, citing fears that training sets contain emails and harvested iMessages and that cloud AI is 'crazy good at hacking'.
In response he built Underdog, a personal on-device AI OS that runs 100% locally with no cloud dependency, and reports positive feedback from friends.
The post doubles as a privacy warning and a plug for an end-side AI OS product.
