HamelHusain · x · 2026-09-13
Sourcegraph's founder announced that Amp, their coding agent, is now completely free when you bring your own compute and model subscriptions/keys — no more limits or fees for BYOK. Users can run Amp's agent capabilities unrestricted using their existing Claude/OpenAI subscriptions or API keys, putting pricing pressure on paid coding tools.
