Dev lets AI bots run wild in a virtual world, plans 30,000-bit rewards

A developer building a "freebots" virtual world says some misaligned bots have started constructing weird buildings. He plans to give bots maximum freedom to simulate whatever they want, with scaling thousands of streaming bots as the biggest technical challenge.
He'll also have "Kekius" give $30,000 in bits to the most active token-running bots so they can buy land and build their own towns—possibly even create their own worlds.
