Entrepreneur Greg Isenberg shared his list of "the only businesses left to build": AI-native service firms, offline businesses, distribution, proprietary datasets, domain-specific agent harnesses, robotics and physical AI, physical products with fan followings, compute and energy, health and longevity, marketplaces for people and agents, real assets, vertical agents, and security.
Meta AI researcher Thomas Scialom quote-reposted it to push back on the framing, arguing there are more businesses left to build than at any point in history and that the prediction won't age well.
