Skild AI hits $100M ARR ten months after first deployment, argues deployment is robotics' hidden pillar

Skild AI co-founder Deepak Pathak announced the company crossed $100 million in ARR just ten months after its first commercial deployment, arguing that deployment is the "hidden pillar" of robotics research: supply chains, installation, integration, maintenance and updates can't be understood from the lab — "there is no substitute" for being on site. Crossed Off Capital notes Skild follows the same playbook as Agility Robotics, which pushed Digit into commercial deployment early and built the industry's most valuable deployment experience and data flywheel ahead of its SPAC listing (the first investable humanoid pure-play on US markets, while Unitree lists on the STAR Market). Digit's BOM is $125k today, projected to fall to $30k at scale with Foxconn's manufacturing support.
