David Sacks: Anthropic can't warn AI is dangerous and IPO at trillions

White House AI czar David Sacks publicly pressured Anthropic: "This is a time for choosing — these games have to end." He argued Anthropic can't side with Bernie Sanders' view that AI is dangerous while asking public investors to underwrite a valuation in the trillions: "If they agree AI is dangerous, how can they be allowed to IPO?" geoffwolfe quipped this proves Sacks holds no Anthropic position — a public clash between Anthropic's safety stance and its commercial ambitions.
