Amid the viral "fly story" (a digital fly that can drive, play games, and post tweets), Aran Nayebi clarifies the hype: these behaviors come from an MLP trained policy, not the fly connectome itself — let alone the full fly brain (connectome + dynamics). Replace "fly" with "MLP," he argues, and the result looks far less impressive.
