Researcher @aug5thmusic claims the first music score ever edited and engraved by an LLM: GPT-6 Astra spent two days producing a modern digital edition of Weber's Symphony No. 2 from a handwritten manuscript, with the human editor increasingly relying on Astra's demonstrated musical expertise. The edition includes extensive notes and a preface written by Astra; once approved it will be freely available on IMSLP, with both the score and LilyPond files open to all.
