trq212 · x · 2026-09-12
Anthropic's official Claude Code release adds a claude plugin eval command to address a real pain point: knowing whether your skills/plugins still behave after new model releases.
- Run claude plugin eval init in your plugin folder to get started
- Create test cases, run your plugin or skill against them, and score the runs
- Compare against a no-plugin baseline to quantify what value your plugin actually adds and where it needs work
