A viral AI-circle skit imagines a Jane Street quant grilling an Anthropic interviewer: if the safety team prices a 5% chance of irreversible loss of control, who set that number? With no capabilities-side counterparty and no market making, "you don't have a five." His fix: put safety and capabilities teams in a room, let safety buy and capabilities sell at 5, size up until someone gets uncomfortable — that's price discovery for risk, which Anthropic currently lacks.
