One prompt, a playable game: Fable nails an 'imminence' game about the end of everything
repligate · x · 2026-09-12
Ethan Mollick used Fable to generate a playable browser game from a single prompt: make a game about 'Imminence' — a suburb and the arrival of a vast, unknowable presence, invoking the feeling of the end of all things coming inevitably, but neither sad nor scary. The result was called 'incredibly cool and striking' by those sharing it, a neat demo of turning one sentence into a complete game experience.
