Fruit fly connectome plays chess at ~700 Elo in playable online demo
dejavucoder · x · 2026-09-12
Developer Ernesto built a playable chess site where a fruit fly CNS connectome picks the moves, currently rated 700 Elo. The page visualizes live neural activity — optic lobe and central brain receiving board input, descending/motor neurons outputting moves — with neuron and spike counters and sim time. Play as White or Black, with undo, hints and a live connectome view.
