Redder extends AI videos to any length in ComfyUI with Minimax-H3 visual context trick
solomars3 · reddit · 2026-09-12
A Reddit user shared a working method for seamlessly extending AI-generated videos in ComfyUI using Minimax-H3, tackling the classic problems of style degradation, character morphing, and visible cuts. The trick feeds the previous clip's visual context back to the model, yielding pixel-perfect transitions aligned to the last frame, retention of existing assets (boats, character features) instead of hallucinated ones, and consistent lighting/color/camera style across cuts. The author is packaging the workflow into a custom ComfyUI node with a full walkthrough, to be released free on their YouTube channel SatoDive.
