Indie dev kills CodeFast & ShipFast affiliate programs as AI sends conversions to near zero

Indie developer Marc Lou has discontinued the affiliate programs for CodeFast and ShipFast, saying revenue has dropped significantly in recent months largely because of AI. Conversion rates are lower in 2026 and affiliates earned roughly $0, making the programs no longer worth running.
His takeaway: AI accelerates everything, so staying in business requires moving extremely fast and taking nothing for granted — a concrete example of AI eroding the economics of tutorial-style coding products.
