How to wipe your Google My Activity and turn off Web, YouTube, and Timeline tracking

A two-step Google account privacy cleanup guide. Step one: in Gmail, go to Manage your Google Account → Data & privacy → History settings → My Activity, then Delete → All time to wipe everything Google has saved on your searches, watching, and typing. Step two: turn off Web & App Activity, YouTube History, and Timeline — otherwise, the author warns, the data pile rebuilds itself within a week.
