EugeneVinitsky · x · 2026-09-11
Maryland Governor Wes Moore announced a landmark partnership with Anthropic, Percepta (a General Catalyst company), and The Rockefeller Foundation — one of the first states with a comprehensive multi-agency AI approach.
- Claude models will be integrated into part of the state workforce, with Percepta engineers working alongside state agencies.
- Goals: tackling child poverty, expanding housing access, and modernizing services like nutrition and financial support.
- The governor framed it as innovating beyond fixing broken systems, e.g. turning renters into homeowners.
