Running Redis as a simple cache? Turn off snapshotting and journalling to save disk and CPU

Developer Daniel Lockyer shared before/after disk usage screenshots showing big savings from disabling Redis snapshotting and journalling. His advice: if you use Redis purely as a simple cache, turning off persistence loses data on restart but saves substantial CPU and disk overhead.
