Indie developer yihuiindie burned through two ChatGPT usage resets in a single day and argues that waiting for tokens to get cheap enough for unlimited use is wishful thinking. Adapting the classic Andy-and-Bill Law, he proposes the "Huang-Altman Law": however much compute Jensen Huang supplies, Sam Altman will take — usage limits expand to absorb every efficiency gain, so the practical experience never feels cheaper.
