Gergely Orosz (The Pragmatic Engineer) notices several of the sites and web apps he uses daily have picked up annoying but small regressions, and wonders if it's tied to teams shipping 10x as many PRs with AI agents:
- Substack: pressing enter on a post tag no longer auto-focuses the textfield, killing fast keyboard-based tagging.
- Google Workspace search: autocomplete no longer shows folders by default, forcing an extra enter just to see the folder you typed.
- Tinybeans: removed date-based grouping in its photo upload UI, breaking his primary workflow.
His takeaway: power users notice these instantly, but there's no good way to report them, and the engineering teams are clearly flying blind and patting themselves on the back.
