Meta AI researcher François Fleuret laid out a three-way split of long-term futures: (1) no super AI; (2) super AI arrives but humans remain entirely human — he calls both the "kindergarten"; and (3) super AI plus humans biohacking/hybridizing with silicon, which he argues almost certainly makes us "very not human" and erodes our reasons for being.
