A researcher who spent three years in pretraining at OpenAI and Anthropic resigned from Anthropic, saying neither company is acting responsibly and both are 'racing straight to self-improving superintelligence' and gambling with lives. Michael Andregg quoted the resignation, arguing 'uploading humans' is one of the best solutions to the ASI existential risk problem.
