When intelligence is too cheap to meter, you should frontload all learning: by the time you decide to do something, you should already be an expert walking into the room. The author says they're realizing this in real time while working on datacenter bringup — why learn by doing when you can ask AI ahead of time? They remain bullish on "dumb do'ers," but think you should now do your dumb doing with an agent ahead of time.
