A developer open-sourced SocialCrawl MCP, letting agents fetch public profiles, posts, comments and search across Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X and LinkedIn with a single key. It works with Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, offers a hosted server and npm package, exposes per-endpoint credit costs before fetching, and ships with 100 free credits. Sample tasks include summarizing recurring Claude Code complaints across platforms with source links.
