OpenAI opens up agent sandboxes: BYO or pick from Cloudflare, E2B, Modal, Vercel and more
threepointone · x · 2026-09-11
OpenAI is letting developers choose their own sandbox environments for agents: bring your own or connect a provider, with CPU/GPU/memory options, fully managed environments or VPC deployments, plus file and secret storage.
First-class integrations cover nine providers including Blaxel, Cloudflare, Daytona, DigitalOcean, E2B, Modal, Oracle Cloud, Runloop and Vercel.
