Developer anandwana001 shipped Bappa — A Living Digital Pandal, an immersive web experience that turns the browser viewport into a Ganesh pandal: visitors walk through decorations, ring bells, light diyas, offer flowers, and reach darshan.
The world state changes with the visitor's actual local time: morning Aarti at 7 AM, Bappa Vishraam from noon to 4 PM, Sandhya lighting at 6 PM, a full Aarti moment at 7 PM, and Shayan at 10 PM.
It's built with Next.js and React Three Fiber/Three.js, plus realtime scheduling, generated pandal visuals, particles, audio, and a cinematic HUD. A GPT Live 1 voice guide powered by Agora lets visitors ask questions in Hindi or English. A live demo is deployed on Vercel, with the author soliciting feedback on atmosphere and interaction.
