Fruit fly connectome wired into Smash Bros: a full brain simulation plays the game

Using the fully mapped connectome of an adult male fruit fly, external Smash Bros inputs are run through a simulated fly brain and the outputs mapped to controller buttons. The complete wiring of a fly brain can now be simulated on a computer, making this a real whole-brain-driven game demo. In replies, the author clarifies it is the actual connectome simulation—not a heuristic or a neural net trained on fly architecture—and explains how inputs are tokenized.
