AI-mapped fruit fly brain (166,000+ neurons) now plays Super Smash Bros Melee on a Mac Studio

Google Research, with HHMI Janelia and the scientific community, has mapped the complete brain and central nervous system of an adult male fruit fly for the first time: AI combined millions of 2D images into 3D neural shapes, reconstructing a record 166,000+ neurons to accelerate neuroscience.
Then @KevinTang made it weird: in the same week Super Smash Bros Melee was fully decompiled, he ran the fly brain on his Mac Studio, the game on his Meta Quest, with the "players" on his coffee table — the fly brain is actually playing Smash Bros.
